Description of Fluorometholone
Fluorometholone is a corticosteroid used as an ophthalmic antiinflammatory agent. Corticosteroids have actions, including antiinflammatory and antiproliferative effects. When applied topically, fluorometholone is effective in the treatment of superficial ocular inflammatory conditions.
Fluorometholone is often used after laser-based refractive surgery,Fluorometholone often used to prepare ophthalmic suspension which used in the treat of inflammatory conditions of the palpebral and bulbar conjunctive,cornea,and anterior segment of the eye.
